As originally published, the Coast Guard intends to award a sole source contract to Northrup Grumman Corporation, Electronic Sensors and Systems Division, Baltimore, Maryland, to purchase 12 APG-66(V)2 radar Mid-Life Upgrade kits, Nothrup Grumman part #544R547GO1, and update the associated aircraft displays. Options for Northrup Grumman to install and integrate the upgraded radar system and displays on 9 Coast Guard HU-25 aircraft, upgrade 2 Coast Guard test benches, provide a WF-360 FLIR interface, and provide an LN-100 interface will be included in the contract. This is an administrative modification acknowledging that numbered Note 22 should have been included in the CBD announcement. Inclusion of numbered Note 22 only serves to reiterate the Coast Guard_s willingness to review information that could lead to a competitive procurement and, lacking submission of any information, intent to award a sole source contract.
