K -- RETROFIT HIGH/LOW TEMPERATURE CHAMBERS SOL N00274-99-R-0052 POC Donna Chaney, Contract Specialist, (301) 744-6656 The Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center has a requirement to retrofit two (2) existing Webber Hi/Lo chambers. Chamber #1 (Webber Model #460360, S/N 1) is 20'D x 5'W x 5'H with the plenum running the full length of the left side. Chamber #2 (Webber Model #460360, S/N 2) is 20'D x 5'W x 5'H with the plenum running the full length of the right side. Both chambers have a wall, floor, and ceiling thickness of 6". The two chambers are water cooled; and both retrofits shall be changed to air-cooled. The contractor shall provide all new wiring, and thermocouple type "T". The contractor may or may not use existing conduit. The government will remove the old refrigeration equipment. In addition, there will be an option to retrofit up to four (4) more chambers. Delivery -- 240 days after issuance of contract or exercise of option. The requirement will also include installation, warranty and data. A site visit will be required. Award will be based on the best value to the government considering factors such as Offer Acceptability, Offer Capability (experience, design/technical comprehension, high/low limit switches, delivery schedule, parts, past performance) and Price.
