On or about 7/23/99, this office will issue a Request for Proposal for construction of a Carrier Annex at Fridley MN 55432-9998. Proposals will be opened on 8/23/99 at 3:00 PM. THIS IS NOT A PUBLIC PROPOSAL OPENING. The value of the work is estimated to be between $2,400,000 and $2,800,000. Description of the work is: The project consists of construction of a one story steel framed, masonry veneer and steel stud carrier annex building approximately 31,119 gsf, which includes an enclosed garage, workroom and support areas and an enclosed mail platform and loading dock. Included are paved maneuvering and parking areas, storm water retention pond and landscaping. Location of project is Northco Business Park, Fridley, MN. This will be a Fix Price Contract..The contractor will be required to commence work within 10 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed and complete within 310 calendar days. Liquidated damages will be accessed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. There will be a NON-REFUNDABLE FEE FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
