The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment and constructing the Louisiana State Penitentiary Levee, Levee Enlargement and Berms, Item 1, located in West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. Principal features of work include levee enlargement, berm embankment toe road embankment, Hunter Creek cleanout, establishment of new turf, and crushed stone surfacing. The work includes mobilization and demobilization, clearing and grubbing, creek cleanout, fully compacted fill, semicompacted fill, uncompacted fill, crushed stone surfacing, corrugated metal pipe culverts, stone protection, cattle guards, erosion control, turfing and mowing, storm water pollution prevention and environmental protection. The Project Cooperation Agreement (PCA) has not been approved and Right-of-Way is presently not available. Site visits cannot be made and bids will not be opened until the PCA has been executed and Right-of-Way is obtained. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 and$5,000,000.00.
