The work primarily consists of, but not necessarily restricted to the following: Field verification of all existing conditions and dimensions in all 200 housing units. Removal of existing kitchen cabinets, countertops, sinks, garbage disposals, vent hoods, bathroom vanities, and related appurtenances. Installation of new kitchen cabinets, countertops, sinks, vent hoods, and bathroom vanities. Reinstallation of existing or Government supplied garbage disposals and dishwashers. Reconnecting new sinks and lavatories to existing plumbing. Reconnecting new vent hoods to existing exhaust ductwork and electrical connections. Touch-up painting. The contract magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The applicable SIC Code and size standard for this acquisition are 1751/$7 Million, respectively. This project will issue on or about 2 Aug 99. Performance period shall be 210 calendar days. This acquisition is unrestricted. This solicitation will be posted on the internet only.
