The Army requires a contract for Upgrade dining Facility at Evans Field, fort Stewart, Georgia. the work primarily consists of, but not necessarily restricted to the following: Demolish interior of rooms including selected concrete floors, CMU walls, doors, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. Provide and install new CMU walls, concrete floors, footings, subfloors, new metal doors/frames, aluminum window, door hardware, gypsum board walls. Reinforced fiberglass panels, wood paneling, quarry tile floors and base, acoustical suspended ceilings. Painting for walls, ceilings, and doors. Provide toilet partitions and accessories, new plumbing fixtures, equipment and piping systems. Install kitchen equipment stainless steel hoods and custom scullery counters, HVAC systems, new ductwork and diffusers. Provide new electrical systems and lighting, new fire alarm system with radio transmitter. The contract magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The applicable SIC Code and size standard for this acquisition are 1542/$17 Million, respectively. This project will issue on or about 2 Aug 99. Performance period shall be 150 calendar days.
