The work involves the repair of the west abutment including access road construction, excavation, form construction, reinforcing steel placement, concrete placement, select fill embankment, subdrain installation, guardrail removal and reinstallation, concrete slab placement, riprap placement, seeding and mulching, traffic control, dewatering, and erosion and sedimentation control. The contract work time is 90 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed which will be issued fall 1999. The contract estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000.
