Z -- MECHANICAL IMPROVEMENTS TO HVAC ERSKINE HALL SOL NMA401-99-R-0020 POC Ms. Andrea McClendon, Contract Specialist, (301)227-5130 The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to replace two boilers with a single new 200 hp boiler and associated accessories, new boiler water sample extraction equipment, replacement of deteriorated blow down piping, replacement of two hot water generators and heat recovery equipment, new steam interconnecting piping, exhaust and ventilation work, replacement of cooling tower sump pumps and sump freeze protection, repairs to boiler room floor and maintenance platforms and ladders; and architectural changes to the control room located in Erskine Hall. All workers are required to be U.S. citizens. The solicitation will include 2 contract line items (CLIN 0001 -- Phase 1 and CLIN 0002 -- Phase 2) The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in descending order of importance: 1) Past Performance, 2) Technical, and 3) Price.
