This synopsis/solicitation constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. The SIC code for this acquisition is 7389, size standard is 5.0 million. This acquisition is for a firm-fixed price for: Services of a Contractor to Ultra High Pressure Water Blast in accordance with Statement of work for Ultra High Pressure Water Jet Blasting of the Freeboard Surfaces. These services will be performed on Coast Guard Cutter Dauntless. Services will be performed on or about August 3, 1999. Pricing is as follows: 1. Freeboard Surfaces, 6700 SF, Qty-1 Unit-Job; 2. Underwater Body and Appendages,7800 SF, Condition B or C: 2A. Condition B, Qty-1 Unit-Job; 2B. Condition C, Qty-1 Unit-Job; 3. Underwater Body Surfaces, Condition B or C, (a combination of up to 5 increments may be required) 740 SF per Increment; 3A. Condition B, Qty-5 Unit-Increment; 3B, Condition C, Qty-5 Unit-Increment.
