The subject solicitation was issued on 12 Jul 99 for two 02N2 plants; one for the CVN 74 and one for the CVN 70. The solicitation has been amended to make the unit for the CVN 70, an option, which may be exercised by the Government no later than 31 Dec 99. Delivery of the optional unit will be within 24 months after option exercise. The solicitation has also been amended to make a single award for both items.
