66 -- SGI UPGRADE FOR BRUKER AMX 500 COMPUTER SOL B28995 DUE 080499 POC Patricia Wright, Contracting Officer (301) 827-7163 The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), intends to award a Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Bruker Instrument, Inc., 15 Fortune Drive, Billerica, Massachusetts 01821-3991. Bruker Instrument will provide Accessories for AMX-500, complete Silicon Graphics Computer Interface Upgrade, including Silicon Graphics TM 02 TM workstation computer, including: a. Model W5-200S-4G64, 200 MHz 02 workstation, R5000SC, 64 MB memory, 4.0 GB System Disk. b. Model PCI-ENET-TX-1P 10/100 MB PCI Bus autosensing Ethernet controlling (TC/PIP), for general network communications. c. Two Ultra Fast SCSI-II controllers (1 internal, 1 external). d. Two serial ports (460 kbps) (DB-9). e. KBA-US 02 keyboard kit with mouse. f. Additional PCI bus autosensing Ethernet controller (TC/PIP), dedicated to spectrometer control. g. Internal 12X CDROM. h. Model SC4-C-7.2.1 MIPSPRO C COMPILER 7.2.1 i. Model SC4-NFS-6.2 ONC3/Network File System (NFS) Software for IRIX 6.x rel 2. j. 17" High Resolution Monitor. Communication Control Unit (CCU TM) with 100 MHz RISC microprocessor, 16 MByte buffer memory, dedicated Ethernet link (10 MBit/sec) and RS-232 connections for communications between the spectrometer and the host computer. The uniqueness of the upgrade of Bruker AMX 500 Computer: New Acquisition Interface compatible with SGI workstation and an AMX Console, including new A3001 Acquisition board, and Bruker NMR Suite TM software package for acquisition and processing of 1D and 2D data.
