Edwards AFB has a requirement for Pest Control Services: The contractor shall provide all management, licenses, laboratory testing, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation and labor to develop and implement an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plan at (Edwards AFB) in a manner that will ensure the health and general well being of installation personnel. The following types of pests are common at Edwards AFB,CA., and their abatement should be specifically addressed in the Edwards AFB, California Integrated Pest Management plan, (IPM), and used to determine workload. Any weed, or insect, invertebrate, arachnid, rodent, bird, or fungi that causes an economic loss, or presents a hazard to Air Force property, or personal health and morale. This service shall be for Edwards Main Base, Housing areas, Golf Course, and the Rocket Propulsion Laboratory. Anticipated period of performa nce is from 1 Oct 99 to 30 Sep 00 with four one-year options. This acquisition is being accomplished under FAR part 12 procedures, Acquisition of Commercial services.
