Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) seeks to increase the level of effort under
the current contract that includes end user technology support services
for PBGC's automated information systems. The services include, but are
not limited to LAN Administration, Help Desk and PC Repair support.
This is a continuation of work already undertaken by the existing
providers. The increase in level of effort is to accommodate the
increase in workload resulting from several new system implementations.
In view of the provider's familiarity with the complexities of PBGC,
extensive systems experience with PBGC's desktop and LAN environment,
Configuration Management, communication requirements and the time
already spent in learning the work and PBGC policies and procedures, it
is PBGC's belief that it would be in our best interest for the current
provider to continue performing the work under the contract. Posted
