L. 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450 (e)) and 41 C.F.R. 1452.226-71 which require that preference in subcontracting be given to Indian/Alaska Native firms. Consistent with these authorities, bidders shall advertise & solicit subcontractors & suppliers from the Tribe(s) on or near the reservation(s) for which the contract will be performed. Failure by the bidder to submit its plan when required and implement same after award shall be sufficient reason for non-award of a contract or terminationn of award for default.
