Z -- ROAD RECONSTRUCTION AND PAVING SOL R6-20-99-25 RD DUE 090899 POC Contracting Office (541) 883-6739 The Winema National Forest is soliciting bids for the reconstruction of 2.03 km of Forest Road 3732, which is the main access to the summer homes along the east side of Lake of the Woods. Road reconstruction includes excavation and embankment, crushed aggregate base with a geotextile fabric underlayer and 75 mm depth of asphalt concrete pavement for the length of the project. The project includes constructing 720 meters of cobbled drainage channels from Road 3732 to outlets along Lake of the Woods shoreline. Work will also include removal of 25 hazard trees, installation of 34 meters of corrugated metal pipe and removal of 36 meters of existing culvert pipe. Estimated issue date is August 6, 1999 and estimated open date is September 8, 1999. Approximate start work date is September 25, 1999. The project is located on the Klamath Ranger District of the Winema National Forest, Klamath County, Oregon. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000.
