personal services of a Native American Graves Protection and
Repatriation Act Inventory Coordinator. The FS believes because of the
complexity of this project and the extreme importance of the
one-on-one relationships established with museum officials and Indian
tribes across the country that Dr. Frank Wozniak, current contractor,
is the only source capable of: (1) the completion of the inventory and
summary of human remains, funerary objects, sacred objects of cultural
patrimony unerary objects, sacreunerary objects, sacrein archaeological
collections from the 11 National Forests in the Southwestern Region and
for the Bureau of Land Management lands in Arizona and New Mexico; (2)
consultation affiliation and repatriation; (3) repatriation of
materials, including notification the Secretary of the Interior and the
NAGPRA Review Committee coordination with museums and repositories, and
arrangements with Indian tribes and pueblos for return of materials.
Award is contingent upon receiving approval of Advisory and Assistance.
