M -- DRAFT SOLICITATION FOR AN A-76 STUDY FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND THE DIRECTORATE OF LOGISTICS AT FT. BENNING, GA SOL DABT60-99-R-0013 DUE 082399 POC Sandi Harris, Contract Specialist, (757-878-4005/270) or Ron Turner, Contracting Officer, (757)878-4005/278) TRADOC Acquisition Center (TAC) will be issuing a DRAFT Solicitation on or about 22 Jul 99 for an A-76 Commercial Activity Study for Directorate of Logistics (DOL) and Department of Public Works (DPW) for Ft. Benning, GA. This office welcomes industry comments/questions pertaining to any portion of the solicitation; with particular emphasis on Section L and M and the Performance Work Statement. Please respond by 23 Aug 99. Pertinent responses to this draft solicitation will be used to IMPROVE similar TRADOC A-76 DPW projects. A final solicitation will be issued in approximately 60 days. The Ft. Benning requirement solicits the contractor to perform services relating to the maintenance of Buildings and Structures, Family Housing, Utility Systems, HVAC Systems, Dining Facility Equipment, Surfaced Area's as well as providing for Pest Control and Ground Maintenance. The Performance Period is for one year with 4 one-year options. The applicable SIC Code is 8744 with a Size Standard of $20M. This procurementwill be solicited unrestricted under a cost-plus-award-fee arrangement. A formal source selection procedure will be used during the evaluation process with oral presentations being a part of the process.
