Boeing, as the original and only B-52 aircraft manufacturer, is the only source to have the unique experience, expertise, and facilities to satisy ECMI production requirements. The Boeing designed Group "A" kit consists of one (1) J-box, one (1) auxiliary control panel, hardware to install new Control Display Unit (CDU), data bus couplers, cabling, and wiring. The production contract for Group "A" kits will be awarded as a new Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract and will consist ofbasic year with five (5) one (1) year options to cover yearly kit deliveries. Nonrecurring engineering Award may include basic and five (5) one (1) year options The approximate issue/response date will be 10 AUG 1999. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation.
