The West Cascades Scenic Byway Portal Construction 1) Portal #1 will be located in the Estacada Timber Park with facility construction consisting of developing the site for public access and parking, restoom facilities and an Interpretive/Information display panel (Kiosk). 2) Portal #2 will be located at the Ripplebrook Guard Station with facility construction consisting of striping the existing parking area adjacent to State Highway 224 to facilitate public access and parking and an Interpretive/Information display panel (Kiosk). The desired start work date is October 10, 1999. The project is located as follows: Portal #1 is located in Estacada, Oregon within the Estacada Timber Park and adjacent to the Estacada Industrial Park. Portal #2 is located at the Ripplebrook Guard Station which is 26 miles S.E. of Estacada, Oregon via State Highway 224. A preproposal meeting is scheduled for August 15, 1999, 0900 at the Clackamas River Station, 595 N.W. Industrial Way, Estacada, Oregon 97023.
