Contractor shall completely prepare site and furnish all labor, tools, materials and equipment necessary and perform all work to install a ballasted EPDM sheet roofing system on approximately 90 square of roof area on Building 76 at the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York in accordance with specifications and Drawings No. VAMC-514-1617. Demolition work will include removal of built-up roofing, ballast, insulation flashings and perimeter metal. New work will include installation of R-20 polyisocyanurate roof insulation, .060 EPDM ballasted roof combination #3 round gravel and 2' X 2' X 2" concrete pavers over a second layer of membrane for 20' out from building wall. New metal flashing and coping and wood nailer and cants to be installed. Contemplated issue date is July 30, 1999 with an approximate opening date of August 31, 1999. The cost range is $25,000 to $100,000. A refundable bid deposit of $100.00 made payable to the VA Medical Center is required for each set of plans and specifications.
