The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting proposals from construction firms having the capability to perform the work described below. A negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The work of this contract includes Callville Bay, Overton Beach, and Echo Bay. The work at Callville Bay consists of the general construction of a complete microfiltration/nanofiltration water treatment facility, including selective site and building demolition, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, piping, and finish site work. The work at Callville Bay also includes construction and installation of a 400,000 gallon pre-stressed concrete water storage tank, bubbler irrigation system, wastewater connection, and radio telemetry system. The work at Overton Beach includes installation of a 150,000 gallon concrete water storage tank. The work at Echo Bay includes installation of a 500,000 gallon pre-stressed concrete waterstorage tank. The work at Echo Bay also includes demolition of the existing 500,000 gallon and 100,000 gallon welded steel water storage tanks. All work will be performed under a single contract. -- Location: Lake Mead National Recreation area is located east of Las Vegas, Nevada, within Clark County. Callville Bay is located approximately 30 miles northeast of Las Vegas. Overton Beach is located approximately 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas.
