Project is located on the Salmon River Ranger District, Idaho County, Idaho; Location of Project: From Grangeville, Idaho on SH 13 take FDR 221 (paved), then south for approximately 30 miles to FDR 444; Follow FDR 444 (unpaved, gravel) south and east for approximately 11.5 miles to Moore's Guard Station and Trail #313; follow Trail #313 approximately 2.3 miles to the junction of Trails #13 and 312, then south of Trail #312 7.7 miles to the juncation of Trail #91 and #312 (Beginning of Project). Project consists of approximately 4.5 miles of reconstruction of Moore's-Black Butte Trail #312 including clearing and grubbing, relocation of short sections of trail, hardening of tread, construction of a shallow stream ford, installing drain dips, check dams and waterbars and obliteration of abandoned trail sections.
