Dickey, (605)353-9215 The Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to place fill and riprap at the bases of seven lattice steel structures (four legs per structure) on the Huron-Watertown 230-kV Transmission Line, near Willow Lake, Vienna, and Hazel, in Clark and Hamlin Counties, and place fill and riprap at the bases of 33 wood pole structures (typically two poles per structure) on the Summit-Groton 115-kV Transmission Line, near Webster and Bristol, in Day County, all sites in South Dakota. The standard industrial classification code for this project is 1629. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Estimated construction magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This solicitation will be issued on or about August 4, 1999. The projected bid opening date is on or about September 8, 1999.
