Service contract for all fees, labor, packaging, removal, transportation and disposal of hazardous items from Tooele Chemical Agent Disposal Facility, Tooele, UT. Solicitation SP4400-99-R-0025 will be issued on or about August 16, 1999. This solicitation will result in a requirements-type contract and it will have the possibility of multiple awards. It is anticipated that the contract will have one 18-month base period, with two 12-month option periods. The periods of performance may be revised. Performance will be requested by issuance of written task orders against the basic contract. Prospective contractor and subcontractors must be able to meet all Federal, state, and local laws, ordinances and regulations governing disposal of hazardous waste materials and environmental protection. This procurement is under full and open competition. The final contract decision will be based on a combination of past performance, price, management plan, and other factors described in the solicitation. A Pre-proposal Conference is tentatively scheduled for September 1, 1999, at Tooele Chemical Agent Disposal Facility. Exact dates and times will be in the solicitation.
