This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Television-Audio Support Agency intends to procure installation of a new Scientific Atlanta 8862 Antenna Position Controller on each of AFRTS-BC's two 7-meter satellite antennas. Work also includes installation of an 8860 Adaptrak Controller on each antenna; enginnering and performing a retrofit upgrade for the azimuth and elevation actuators; installing new motors, reducers, and mounting brackets for the position controllers; and calibrating the Antenna Positioning System for each antenna.
