The work includes installation of an infiltration gallery and diversion pipeline and excavation of existing impoundment. The principle features of the work include: (a) Excavation for slope stabilization and access; (b) Excavation for and installation of infiltration gallery and pre-cast diversion box; (c) Installation of gravel and riprap; (d) Excavation, trenching, and installation of diversion pipe; (e) Excavation to refurbish existing impoundment; (f) Spreading and leveling spoils materials; and (g) Revegetating disturbed areas with native grasses. The estimated cost range of this project is $100,001 to $250,000. The location of this project is the Kaibab-Paiute Indian Reservation in Kaibab, Arizona. For this acquisition, the standard industrial classification code is 1629 and the small business size standard is $17 million. The estimated issuance date of the solicitation is August 10, 1999, and the estimated date for receipt of bids is September 9, 1999.
