The work shall consist of but not necessarily be limited to the following: Turn storage area into cardio vascular area; resurface interior walls; expand number of showers; replace shower tiles and fixtures; renovate sauna; add whirlpool to trainer room; upgrade lighting and panels; replace lockers in mens and womens locker rooms; paint interior of gym; replace all flooring except basketball floor; install handicap accessibililty ramps; replace backboards and baskets; add sliding galss window at new issue room; install air conditioning (except gym); repair existing hvac systems; replace scoreboards; upgrade issue room (carpet/paint/etc) and install reader board. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Portions of the work are classified as new work to which a $500,000.00 Statutory Cost Limitation applies. The sic code for this project is 1542 and the size standard is $17M. Acquisition is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. Performance time shall be 180 calendar days. Funds are not currently available and no contract shall be awarded until such time as appropriated funds from which contract award can be made, become available.
