The work primarily consists of, but not necessarily restricted to the following: Perform preliminary inspections and testing of vehicle tailpie exhaust systems in various tactical equipment shops (motorpools. Remove existing exhaust system components to be replaced. Repair of existing vehicle tailpipe exhaust systems. Clean and seal existing exhaust ductwork to remain. test, adjust and balance exhaust systems to provide 400 CFM minimum exhaust airflow at each vehicle tailpipe adapter connection. The contract magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. The applicable SIC Code and size standard for this acquisition are 1711/$7 Million, respectively. The minimum guaranteed amount is $25,000.00. This solicitation is unrestricted. This project will issue on or about 2 Aug 99. Performance period shall be 365 calendar days. This solicitation will be posted on the internet only.
