The Navy requires 3,000 each Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), Part Number QL12X16B-OCF100M, manufactured by QuickLogic Coporation, 1277 Orleans Drive, Sunnyvale, CA 94089-1138. A Brand Name Only purchase description applies. QuickLogic is the only manufacturer who has undergone extensive performance and systems compatibility testing and has been approved as a source for these FPGAs, which are components of the 9U modules in the Trident D5 backfit EEC. This is a Life-of-Type buy and will satisfy all known requirements for these FPGAs. Duplicative non-recurring costs to perform evaluation of any other potential supplier's FPGAs precludes a full and open competition solicitation for this requirement. Delivery of the FPGAs will be required FOB NSWC Crane, IN within 120 days after contract award. Inspection and acceptance will be at source. Numbered Notes 22 and 26 apply.
