FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire Test Kits, Reagents, Disposable and Consumable Medical Items for the Naval Hospital, Great Lakes, IL. This procurement is being conducted as a commercial items acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12, using Subpart 13.5 test program procedures. A firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated with a base period commencing on 01 October 1999 and ending 30 September 2000, with three (3) one-year option provisions. There are 86 line items for the base period and each option period for a total of 344 contract line item numbers. These will include, but are not limited to, items by BBL, SIGMA, PREMIER, and QUIDEL. Dropshipment of items is to occur each month. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) may require the submission of price and past performance information. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Code for this acquisition is 5047. All responsible sources may request the RFQ and submit a quote, which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia.
