Eschels, (734)439-1511 ext 320 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepare in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation, number 117-0564. (III)The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-08. (IV)The standard industrial classification code is 2899, the small business size standard is 500 employees. The solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside. (V)Item 1 -- Water softener salt pellets, 10800 estimated bags. (VI)Pellets ONLY, no dyes or additives, NO dirt, 50 lb/bag. (VII) The payments shall be by credit card. The FOB point shall be destination. The deliveries will be made on an "on-call" basis. The order will be placed by Thursday for delivery the following week. Orders/deliveries will beapproximately one time per month. The order will be a minimum of a semi load per shipment (approximately 900 bags). Delivery hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. EST. No deliveries will be accepted before or after these times. No deliveries will be accepted on federal holidays.
