The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Lucent Technologies for one Digital Conferencing & Switching System (DCSS) Conference Controller Y2K Upgrade. Lucent Technologies will provide the hardware, software, upgrade installation, and support services required to upgrade the currently Y2K non-compliant DCSS which will otherwise fail to operate on 1 January 2000. Purchase of Lucent Technologies' hardware and software must be as identified in order to be compatible with the existing system. Contemplated period of performance is 1Aug99 through 30Sep99.
