U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is intending to go sole source to Campagnuolo Associates for an estimated quarter-man-year support providing non-personal service as a senior advisor with expertise in fuze design and acquisition, in both electrical and mechanical safing and arming systems, in state-of-the-art exploding foil initiator (EFI) firing train design as well as in hand emplaced munitions and other munition systems. Specifically, this support and expertise is immediately required in the integration of a SOCOM developed electronic safe and arm/EFI fire train system into the Improved Limpet Mine program.
