Subject to funding limitations, RFPs will be issued for the operations of the following: Tulsa Job Corps Center (JCC) located in Tulsa, Oklahoma; North Texas JCC located in McKinney, Texas; David L. Carrasco JCC located in El Paso, Texas; Guthrie JCC located in Guthrie, Oklahoma; and the Oklahoma Outreach, Admission, and Placement agency; during the period July 1, 1999 to June 30, 2000. Job Corps is a residential training program for economically disadvantaged youth between the ages of 16 to 24. Contractors will be expected to manage and operate a Govenment-owned facility and hire staff for residential living, basic education, voactional training, and provision of health services. All activities will be in compliance with applicable DOL/Job Corps regulations, policies, and handbooks. Issuance of a specific CBD Notice for the Operation of the above centers/agency will be followed by a pre-proposal conference, and walk-throughs for centers only.
