Dept of Commerce/NOAA/NOS/National Marine Sanctuaries division intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Kane Film and Video, Washington, D.C., to produce broadcast quality video documentation of Columbus Iselin Restoration project and Wellwood Grounding Sites and Examination of Vessel Groundings and the Restoration of Coral Reefs in the Florida Keys. Provide a visual examination through videography and film of other areas impacted by ship groundings within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and provide a visual comparison of undisturbed reef sites and areas impacted by disease or other anthropomorphic disturbances. Work shall include video documentation of the work conducted by the restoration crew, underwater videography of the surrounding reef that contrasts the damaged portions of the reef, repair effort, associated equipment and procedures used in the restoration and examine terrestrial environments that support or detract from healthy reef ecosystems.
