The work of this project consists of providing all labor, equipment and materials as necessary to reconstruct the foundation of a historic 2,000 square foot two story ranch home located at Point Reyes National Seashore, Marin County, CA. Work will include the detachment and lifting of the structure from its existing foundation; removal of existing concrete foundation; construction of a new foundation; and completing repairs on the existing first floor framing as identified in project drawings to be provided. The structure will be vacant during performance of the work. The project is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000 with completion required within 60 days of a Notice to Proceed. Selection of a qualified contractor will be based on Best Value to the Government after considering cost and factors other than cost that relate to the contractor's qualifications, prior experience, and references regarding past projects of this nature. Issuance of this Request for Quotation is anticipated in early August.The closing date will be approximately three weeks thereafter.
