This is a one-time simplified acquisition action for installation and testing of a low-resistance grounding system for the designated Facility and Buildings, including Facility 180 (Van Pads), Bldg 1055 (AIMD) and providing proper bonding of all grounding systems within Bldg 1445. This procurement is unrestricted. Only a limited number of RFQ packages are available and will be mailed out on a first available basis. Requests for RFQ packages must be in writing, either by fax or e-mail, and must provide the RFQ number, your company name and address, a point of contact and phone number. A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, 18 August 1999, at 10:00 a.m. To get on board the base contractors must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance. Report to the ROICC Office before 10:00 a.m. to be ready to leave by 10:00 a.m. If you plan to attend site visit you must submit your name, phone number, company name and number of persons attending. If you need to bring out sub-contractors, please do so as additional site visits will not be conducted. RFQ's are due by 3:00 p.m. (CST) on Tuesday, 31 August 1999. Equal value will be placed on price and past performance as basis for award. Packages cannot be sent electronically; all RFQ packages will be mailed out.
