GS, HOTD, Central Heating and Refrigeration Plant is soliciting quotations from small businesses to award a contract to replace Air Handlers #1, #3, and C Cubicle. Work includes installation of units that have heating and cooling capabilities, sized for the area that is targeted for heating and cooling with new regulators for heating and cooling; replace the existing supply and return steam and chill water lines to and from the new units, starting from the supply valves to their return lines down to the floor. Only the units shall be replaced and not the adjoining ductwork. There are unusual aspects and nature of the job that all prospective bidders must be aware of, therefore, a pre-proposal conference including a walk-through of the job site has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 17, 1999 at 9:30 AM at Central Heating and Refrigeration Plant.
