This is a solicitation notice. The New Jersey Air National Guard proposes to award a contract to Add to and Alter Building 440 for Electronic Counter Measures/Avionics, at the 177th Fighter Wing, Egg Harbor Twp, New Jersey. This solicitation provides for one Lump Sum with one ABI which must be addressed in order to be considered as a responsive bidder. Interested contractors should notify this office in writing of their intention to bid the project as a Prime Contractor with their request for bid package. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials required to perform the work in strict accordance with the contract documents. The estimated cost range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification number is 1542. All requests for a solicitation package shall include the solicitation number, company name, physical mailing address (no PO Boxes unless contractor intends to collect documents in person), point of contact, telephone number and facsimile number. Bidders must also identify their status as woman-owned, small disadvantaged business (SDB), emerging small business (ESB), section 8(a) small business act contractors, small business, or large business. Woman-owned, small and small disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to compete. There is a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting (tentatively) scheduled for 1:00 PM on 31 Aug 1999 in the Base Civil Engineers classroom, located at 400 Langley Road, Bldg 402, Egg Harbor Twp, NJ. Closing time for receipt of packages is presently scheduled for 2:00 PM on 15 Sep 1999. The bid opening will also be held in the Base Civil Engineers classroom.
