commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6,
as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are
being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The
Request for Quotation number is DTCG89-00-Q-6BJ011 and incorporates
provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular
97-12. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small business. The SIC
Code is 7213. The small business sized standard is $10.5 million
annually. The contract type will be a firm fixed price purchase order.
The base year period of performance will be 01 October 1999 through 30
September 2000 with four(4) 1-year option periods. The Government
proposes to solicit quotes on the following: The contractor shall
provide all labor, materials, and supervision necessary for supplying
and cleaning the various items. Dirty and Clean linen, mats, etc.,
shall be picked up and dropped off weekly at designated spots aboard
USCG Group Humboldt Bay. The contractor shall supply the following
items. ITEMS Towels, Shop dyed red, 8in x10in Engineering (qty 250),
Towels, Shop dyed red, 8inx10in EMS (qty 250) (NOTE: Shop towels will
be used to wipe up petroleum products residue), Slip, pillow, 42inx36in
(qty 60), Sheet, 72in, Single, Dacron Cotton (qty 80), Sheet Double,
Dacron Cotton, (qty 30), Dust mop large (qty 4), Mat, Medium, Slate
Gray, 3ftx4ft (qty -- 1), Mat, Large, Slate Gray, 4ftx6ft (qty 2), Mat,
Safety, Rubber, 35inx47in, (qty 10), Apron, Bib-Poly White Standard,
(qty -- 30), Towel, Kitchen approx. 14inx16in, (qty 125), Table Cloths,
White Banquet, approx. 54inx120in, (qty 12). SHIPPING/DELIVERY: The
contractor shall be ready to deliver items on 01 October 1999. AWARD:
This purchase will be based on the following criteria: Lowest price for
service that meets or exceeds specifications. CLAUSES: The following
