Nelson, 561-882-6510 Q -- PRESCRIPTION EYEGLASS SERVICES The VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, FL is soliciting for the procurement of prescription eyeglasses services for all the VA Medical Center's located within the State of Florida (VISN 8) under the authority of FAR part 12, Commercial Item Procurement. A single or multiple award, firm fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity procurement is contemplated for VA beneficiaries within this geographic area. Under SIC 5995 this procurement is set-aside for Small Business. The intent of the procurement is to provide convenient geographic access points to veteran healthcare beneficiaries and, at the same time, provide timely service with quick turnaround times for the filling of prescriptions. The ideal contractor(s) should be licensed in accordance with State and Local Governments and have multiple locations or a provider network throughout the State of Florida for easy access that shall accommodate walk-in beneficiaries and accommodate the disabled/handicapped. Requests for copies of this solicitation must be in writing and should be received by the issuing agency no later than 10 calendar days from the date this notice is published.
