This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. 2. This is a request for quotation. 3. All Federal Acquisition Regulations applicable to this solicitaion must be abided by. 4. This solicitation is restricted to small businesses. SIC 1442, 500 employees or less. 5. The following is a list of contract line item numbers. a. Provide, deliver and tail gate spread 4,000 cu.yds. class 5 gravel, 1,000 cu. yd per mile, 4 miles on tour route (3 mi. NE of Orrock). b. Provide, deliver and tail gate spread 1,000 cu.yds. class 5 gravel, 1,000 cu.yd. per mile, 1 mile on Brande Road (5 mi. NE of Orrock). c. Provide and deliver stockpiled (stockpile to be dumped, not piled with a dozer) 1,000 cu. yds. class 5 gravel (4 mi NE of Orrock). d. Provide and deliver stockpiled (stockpile to be dumped, not piled with a dozer) 1,000 cu.yds. class 5 (5 mi. SE of Santiago. Total requirementis for 7,000 cu.yds of class 5 gravel. Provide per cu. yd. and total price for all items. 6. Delivery to be coordinated with Charles Blair, (612) 389-3323. Contractors are encouraged to visit the site of delivery by arranging access with Charles Blair. All items must be delivered by 31 Oct 99. 7. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors applies to this solicitation. Award will be made to the contractor offering the lowest price quote. 8. Contractors must include a copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and certifications-Commercial Items, with thier quote. 9. The clause FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. 10. Price quotes must be provided by 4:00 P.M. on 17 Aug 99 to the contracting office listed above.
