U.S. Army CECOM proposes to award a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to acquire new production Mechanical Scanner Assemblies, MX-9872(V)1/UA, MX-9872(V)2/UA, and MX-9872(V)3/UA, in accordance with Performance Specification MIL-PRF-49166C(CR) and the applicable specification sheets; and Mechanical Scanner Assemblies MX-10717(V)1/U, MX-10717(V)2/U and MX-10717(v)3/U in accordance with MIL-S-49301(CR), Addendum 1 and applicable specification sheets. (Addendum 1 to MIL-S-49301(CR) REQUIRES a SECRET clearance.) Under this contract the contractor shall also have the capability to reconfigure existing Mechanical Scanners MX-9872(V)1, (V)2, (V)3, (V)4, (V)5, (V)6 or MX-10717(V)1, (V)2 or (V)3 to any of the following configurations: MX-9872 (V)1, (V)2, (V)3, or MX-10717(V)1, (V)2, or (V)3 as required. Offerors must submit one bid sample of the Mechanical Scanners MX-9872(V)1, (V)2, (V)3, and the MX-10717(V)1, (V)2, and (V)3, with their proposal. These units will be subjected to Group A testing during the source selection process. In addition, offerors must submit certified test data for each version, demonstrating compliance with the applicable performance specification, with the proposal. Award will be made to the offeror submitting the proposal determined to be the Best Value to the Government after evaluation of Technical, Price and Performance Risk Assessment Factors. A First Article Test effort shall also be included.
