The Navy requires 3 each Sensing Coils used in the Trident Navigation System. These coils will replace current gyros with fiber optic cable and are being solicited on a sole-source basis from Honeywell, Inc., 21111 N. 19th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85027-2700. The Government will furnish PM fibers required for this procurement. Proprietary rights and confidential drawings owned by Honeywell restricts this procurement. Delivery is F.O.B. NSWC Crane within 30 days after contract award. It is anticipated that a fixed priced purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). It is anticipated that a formal Request for Quote will not be issued. The Total Small Business Set Aside is hereby dissolved in accordance with FAR 13.105.
