Lent (NBC/SP) (562) 494-5922 The VA Long Beach Healthcare System, 5901 E. 7th St., Long Beach, CA 90822, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with PenRad Technologies, Plymouth, MN, to provide a multiple location multiple lesion mammography information system. PenRad is the inventor and copyright holder of the PenRad Mammography Information System and the sole source for its procurement. The system consists of SQL database software loaded into an IBM compatible workstation, an imaging workstation and printer. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and other than full and open competition in accordance with (10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1)) (sole source) FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2) (ii).
