Furnish one Chromatography Data Acquisition System, as manufactured by
JMBS, Inc., P.O. Box 747, Bear, DE. or Equal. Specifications: The data
acquisition and processing system shall be the latest vendor production
offering. The system shall acquire data from the specified
chromatography instrumentation (as indicated below), perform automated
data processing and data reduction, and allow the preparation of
customized analytical reports. The data system software shall be able
to perform data reduction, intergration functions, formation of
calibration curves and related calculations, methods, and sequences,
and allow for the development of customized formulas for task specific
applications. Client server software is required and must have
capability for stand alone operation in the event of server failure (PC
becomes the new server). In the event of server failure the system
shall include a 24 hour buffer for continured data acquisition. The
data system software shall be capable of continuous data acquisition
without occupying a user license or work station license. The system
shall provide a single software platform for any laboratory regardless
of the instrument type employed. The client shall be able to fully
control an instrument(s) through the network and display an unlimited
number of channels on one PC. System must be a true 32 BIT application.
Clients shall be Windows NT or Windows 98. System must have full
ethernet compliance across the network. RS-232 ports and cables are
required for connection between PC(s) and instrument(s) along with
associated hardware and software. Option 580 (or equivalent) required
for 6-HP5890 GC'S. On-site training and installation is required.
