The U.S. Army CECOM Acquisition Center is issuing Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) requesting proposal in support Lithium Rechargeable Cells and Batteries. This BAA will be issued under the provision of FAR 6.102(d)(2) research proposal. A cost plus fixed fee type contract is anticipated. Pending approval of funding, a total of approximately $528,000 for a period of 12 months may be available for funding the effort. No award can be made without a proposal to perform the specific effort with an estimated cost and time frame work. CECOM will evaluate proposals and make contract award with a reasonable period of time. Such invitation does not assure subsequent contract award. Proposal will be selected through a technical/scientific/price/business decision process. This BAA will be issued on or about 15 days from date of this notice on the Business Opportunity Page (BOP).
