A -- MARKET SURVEY -- SOURCES SOUGHT DUE 082799 POC Karen Carnes, Business Assistant, (301) 744-6883 MARKET SURVEY-SOURCES SOUGHT REQUEST FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPPORT FOR UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE (UXO CLEARANCE). The Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division, (NAVEODTECHDIV), is conducting a Market Survey- sources sought to identify Industry sources for Quality Assurance support of a variety of Unexploded Ordnance (UXO)clearance efforts. Sources of interest will have strong capabilities in establishing and implementing statistically based quality management programs and plans, data quality objectives, standard operating procedures, and sampling strategies and plans. Such sources will have knowledge and experience in applying quality assurance methods to UXO clearance efforts, conducting statistical quality assurance efforts in the field, executing sampling efforts in accordance with ANSI/ASQC Z1.4/MIL-STD-105, ANSI/ASQC Z1.9/MIL-STD-414 and similar approaches, generating, interpreting and assessing statistical quality data such as process capability data, statistical control charts and limitsand similar quality measurement tools. ASQC or similar certification of quality personnel is desired. All responsible sources should respond to this Market Survey by submitting no more than a five (5) page information package no later than 30 days after this publication.
