DESC: We are soliciting in-kind donations or sponsorship for the Air Force Birthday Picnic to be held September 24, 1999 at Elmendrf Air Force Base. This event will be open to all base airmen. We are looking for the following prizes: trips, tours, outings, excursions, fishing trips, airline tickets, and certificates ranging from $5 to $500, to be awarded to participants in all events. The events will include sporting activities between squadrons. We would like trophies for the winners of each event. We would like T-shirts for the event planners as well as participants. The event will also include a large picnic for the participants at Paxton Park. We would accept donations/sponsorshoip of food items such as, hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, beverages, and other picnic-like items. We are also looking for entertainment such as, bands, disc jockeys, magicians, musicians, and clowns. We are also seeking cash sponsors/donations for the T-shirts as well as to offset the cost of this event. We would accept all orpart sponsorship/donation for this event depending on the sponsor and what they can provide. Advertising will be done at all areas of the base. Sponsors may set up booths and display banners at the event. Representation by the sponsor at the event would also be accepted and encouraged. All offers will be considered. More than one sponsor/donation may be accepted and additives will be considered. Requests for copies of this solicitation may be requested no later than September 1, 1999. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship by a nonappropriated funds instrumentality of the United States Government.
