Postal Service is soliciting proposals to construct a new Main Post Office on Camp Road in Hamburg, NY. Major work items include demolition, earthwork, site utilities and site improvements, paving, landscaping, and irrigation. Other work items include concrete, steel, roofing, sheet metal, masonry, partitions, custom cabinets and fixtures, carpentry, painting, loading dock equipment, security systems, heating, plastics, electrical, mechanical, and other related work. The estimated cost of the work is between $3,000,000.00 and $4,000,000.00, with completion within three hundred sixty (360) calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Sealed offers will be received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on August 31, 1999. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of contract is made. Proposal documents, plans and specifications will be available o/a July 29, 1999 at a cost of $100.00 per set (non-refundable) from the Facilities Service Office, U. S. Postal Service, 6 Griffin Road North, Windsor, CT 06006-0300. Only certified checks or money orders will be accepted, made payable to the Disbursing Officer, U. S. Postal Service (Reference Solicitation No. 082530-99-A-0161).
